  • Download Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 Drivers [skip this if it's already installed]
  • Download Clockworkmod Recovery [CWM] and install it on the phone
  • Download cwm-root-gtab2.zip
  • Download Fix-Recovery.zip
Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 Jelly Bean Rooting Instruction:
Note: You need to have CWM installed already before you proceed to Root Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 Jelly Bean.
  • Transfer cwm-root-gtab2.zip and Fix-Recovery to your external/internal sd
  • Turn off your phone.
  • Hold Volume Up + Power as it reboots, you can let the keys go when Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 is displayed on screen.
  • Now you are in CWM recovery, choose install zip from sdcard, then choose zip from extenalsd/internal and install 'fix recovery.zip'
  • After it finishes, install 'cwm-root.zip' the same way as installing fix recovery.zip
  • Select Reboot System 
  • On the phone menu you will find new app named 'superuser'. DON'T delete/uninstall that.
  • Try to access system file using any file explorer. 'X-plore' is recomended. Select 'allow' to any access permission that pops up.
  • Congratulations! You have rooted your Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 Jelly Bean.
